Program Overview
This Faculty-Led Programs is suitable for students enrolled in the School of Social Sciences and Psychology. The Faculty-Led Programs will take students on an immersive journey inside Thailand’s circular economy initiatives. From government agencies to corporates to development agencies like the United Nations, the students will discover the country’s initiatives to boost sustainable development which has long taken root in the country. The country has been guided by the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), conceived by His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The current constitution has integrated SEP and sustainable development as integral parts. The development approach based on SEP serves as an approach to support the realization of the SDGs.

Blockchain is a disruptive technology. It is reshaping the business as we know it and paves the way to the new economy. This two-week program has been designed to give a foundational knowledge of the technology and an in-depth perspective on its current and future applications. The program is based on Experiential Learning. Because knowledge is nothing without experience, you will practice in small workgroups and conduct research. Besides, through workshops, site visits and networking sessions, you will share the experience of multiple recognized entrepreneurs and develop fruitful contacts for the future. There are no prerequisites to take the program. It is open to anyone willing to understand Blockchain and crypto currencies, and their global impact on the economy.
