Do you need a degree in fashion?
Since there are so many different types of jobs in the fashion industry, a wide range of skills are required based on the type of job one is looking to get. For a lot of jobs, is not necessary have a degree in fashion but it can be useful background knowledge and required for a lot of entry-level position. If your school doesn’t have fashion major, journalism, advertising and PR are good related fields. It’s beneficial to have an understanding of retail and design.
